Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel valued from the moment they walk in.
• Manage waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest seating.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating arrangements and minimize wait times, maintaining a smooth flow of service.
• Provide guests with menu information, answer questions clearly, and assist with special requests to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for daily operations.
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about reservations or general inquiries.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, turning any issues into positive interactions that promote guest loyalty.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
