Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic attitude and assist them with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Resy
• Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times and menu information, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth flow of seating and guest service
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby area that reflects our welcoming atmosphere
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Support guest relations by providing personalized service and fostering a hospitable environment

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with guests and team members effectively
• Experience with restaurant POS systems Toast and Resy is a Plus!
• Background in hospitality or hotel guest services enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Familiarity with serving, guest relations, and hotel operations can be advantageous in understanding guest needs
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are vital for managing reservations and guest inquiries confidently
