Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional communication skills and customer service expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction and fostering repeat visits.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations with excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring positive guest relations.
• Assist in training new hosts/hostesses as needed, sharing best practices in hospitality.

Requirements

• Previous host/host experience preferred; food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
