Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, providing a warm welcome upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating efficiency
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and addressing any special requests or needs
• Maintain clear communication with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate seating and guest flow seamlessly
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Assist with guest services by providing menus, answering questions about the restaurant or menu items, and offering recommendations
• Ensure the dining area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to create memorable experiences for all visitors
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for delivering exceptional customer service is key
