Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through the seating process
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
• Assist servers by delivering food to tables promptly and accurately as a runner, maintaining high service standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas to promote a welcoming environment
• Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about wait times or menu options
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guests feel valued throughout their visit

Requirements

*please note, we do not hire summer help

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and guest interaction
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Previous restaurant experience, including guest services or serving roles, is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent hospitality standards
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor
• Experience working in hotels or hospitality

Pay: $16.98 - $20.00 per hour
