Overview
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Restaurant Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our restaurant environment, ensuring all equipment, systems, and infrastructure are functioning properly. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Travel between all restaurant locations (Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and Orange County) is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately.
  • Operate tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to carry out repairs or upgrades.
  • Conduct residential painting and general facilities maintenance to uphold the restaurant’s appearance and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
  • Supervise or assist with projects involving welding, electrical work, or other specialized trades as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality, manufacturing, or residential setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics essentials.
  • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, welding tools, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork purposes.
  • Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for coordinating maintenance activities effectively.
  • Valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $68,640.00 per year
