- Oversee the operations of our restaurant - Burger Theory and manage F&B events in our meeting space.
- Hire, train, coach, schedule and mentor all food and beverage employees.
- Support employees and fill in as needed to ensure guests are receiving attentive and efficient service.
- Scheduling sufficient staff to cover operations and to accommodate guest flow.
- Handling HR issues as they arise, including disciplinary write-ups and terminations.
- Maintaining building and equipment via proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures
- Maintaining professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Proactively engage in conversation with guests, seeking feedback about their stay and their dining experience. Thank them and invite them to return!
- Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues or complaints to their satisfaction.
- Monitor all food and beverage deliveries for portion control, quality and presentation.
- Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs.
- Maintaining reports and records based on company standards and in full compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain daily cash control and financial reporting for the department.
- Have deep understanding of POS systems. Ability to learn new POS and other 3rd party systems
- Strictly control alcoholic beverage inventory making sure all employees are following Liquor Commission guidelines.
- Oversee inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
- Manage and promote the restaurant / events on Facebook, yelp, Google. Respond and take action on guest reviews immediately.
- Establish sales promotion efforts to meet or exceed profit objectives while controlling both food and beverage costs.
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
