Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant team and create memorable dining experiences. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure top-notch customer service, and manage staff to deliver a seamless food service environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and has a strong background in food industry management, with a knack for team leadership and hospitality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations across the restaurant.
- Handle inventory control, including stock ordering, monitoring food quality, and minimizing waste.
- Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS (Point of Sale) transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Lead shift management by coordinating front-of-house and kitchen activities to maintain smooth service flow.
- Support budgeting efforts and monitor financial performance to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles, preferably with casual dining or quick service environments.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety protocols, and culinary operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising staff, conducting interviews, and staff training & development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Background in food production, catering, bar service, or hotel experience is a plus.
