About Us

Gelato La Boca is Dallas's home for authentic Argentine artisan gelato — handcrafted in small batches using traditional techniques and the best ingredients we can find. We're a tight-knit team that takes our craft seriously and has a lot of fun doing it.

We're looking for a Store Manager who wants to grow with us — someone who leads by example, cares about the details, and understands that exceptional hospitality is just as important as exceptional gelato.

The Role

You'll be the operational leader of our shop, responsible for the team, the guest experience, and the day-to-day running of the store. This is a hands-on role — you'll be on the floor, alongside your team, setting the standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, train, and schedule a small front-of-house team
• Own daily operations from open to close, including cash management and sales reporting
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate supply orders
• Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences and resolve issues with warmth and professionalism
• Track performance metrics and work toward sales goals
• Be a cultural ambassador for the La Boca brand

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of management experience in food service, hospitality, or retail
• A natural leader who earns respect through presence and consistency
• Comfortable with scheduling, inventory, POS systems, and basic reporting
• Available weekends and holidays (this is gelato — summers are busy)
• Genuine passion for food, hospitality, and community
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not a requirement
