Job Overview:
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
Duties:
- Manage and lead a team of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and support staff.
- Create employee schedules and ensure proper staffing levels
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Maintain a positive work environment for employees
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using a restaurant POS system
- Strong knowledge of shift management procedures
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and best practices
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
