Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and POS reconciliation using systems like OpenTable

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or high-volume food service environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Proven ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Background in guest services or host/hostess roles demonstrating exceptional customer relations skills
