Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Manage guest inquiries and resolve concerns efficiently to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including bussing and sanitation duties.
• Support food handling and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations, including proper food preparation and storage.

Requirements

• Proven restaurant experience or food service background, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy.
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus; experience in bussing or guest relations is highly valued.
