Restaurant Server (Evenings)

The Academy Hotel, Colorado Springs is a family owned and operated full service hotel. We're looking for a friendly and professional restaurant server to join our Falcon's BarGrill team.

Wages: $14.00 per hour + tips

Job Description | Responsibilities | Duties:
Preparing and maintaining dining areas with special attention to sanitation and order. Greeting and attending to customers upon entrance with a polite and friendly attitude. Seating guests, presenting menus, helping guests select food/beverages. Take and serve orders in a timely manner. Answer questions and make recommendations. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude. Communicate with kitchen and bar staff embracing a team environment. Check on tables periodically throughout service time. Bus tables in a timely manner. Adhere to proper opening and closing requirements.

RequirementsQualifications:
Proven experience in customer service. Basic math and computer skills. Able to work a flexible schedule based on hotel needs, including weekends and holidays. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Problem solving, team-work, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, stamina. Knowledge of FoodService Regulations. Bartending experience is a plus.
