Restaurant Server/Bartender

The Server/Mixologist will serve customers with food and beverages in a lively positive and friendly manner. Provides information to help make food and beverage selections. Present ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.

Maintains an excellent dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude! Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, and beer to our guests in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixing and serving alcohol, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to work well in a team environment.

Essential Mixologist Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare cocktails for guests at our bar and seating area throughout the restaurant.
• Greet guests and take orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Stock bar inventory with the necessary supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including the workspace, glassware, utensils, and other tools.
• Stock all equipment appropriately.
• Clean equipment.
• Stock cooler and refrigerator appropriately.
• Ensure that food and beverage orders are properly entered and executed.
• Prepare orders according to the guest’s preferences or specific request.

Essential Server Duties & Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section.
• Taking customers’ food and drink orders
• Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
• Memorizing the menu and recommending appetizers, meals, and drinks from restaurant wine stock.
• Creating an excellent and memorable dining experience by spending time and connecting with each customer
• Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
• Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events.
• Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations.
• Possible to travel 1.5 miles to assist at sister restaurant in Carmel-By-The-Sea
• Serve alcoholic beverages to guests at our bar area only if there are no other suitable alternatives available at the time. If serving drinks is not an option at the time, then prepare non-alcoholic beverages appropriately for guests to enjoy together (e.g., beer).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
