Chef de Partie (CDP) Pizza

at least 2 years of experience

english - basic /independent

As a CDP/ Pizza, you are responsible for overseeing the pizza section of the kitchen, and responsible for expertly crafting pizzas and other menu items, ensuring quality and adhering to food safety standards. Key responsibilities include preparing dough and toppings, monitoring ovens, assembling orders, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and assisting with food preparation and restocking.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and consistently prepare and serve food according to the restaurant’s presentation standards and recipes, including making pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings, and assembling pizzas.
  • Prepare and present high-quality products by following the given Kitchen SOPs.
  • Supervise and train newly hired staff and guide current employees in their skills and career growth and development.
  • Keep all working areas clean and sanitized after every use or for the given standard time of exposure with or without the surface being contaminated.
  • Prepare all mise-en-place for all relevant menus and prepare a prep list to guide the next staff on shift.
  • Ensure food safety handling will be put and applied on the venue from receiving an item up to the storage of the produce. Most prioritize food that is being made to serve or delivered to a valued customer.
  • Contribute to achieving ideal food costs, improving gross profit margins, and making wise decisions on the use of a given budget to achieve financial targets.
  • Assist another team member wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
  • Send or follow up on Reports such as purchase requests, maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues.
  • Comply with all health and safety and food safety legislation.
  • Being aware and vigilant of his surroundings to prevent inventory shrinkage or misuse of company assets and property.
  • Responsible for checking all the shelf-life/Labels for every item daily and doing the modifications.

Commis / Kitchen Crew

The Kitchen Commis main duties include preparing and kitchen food preparation in a specific station, cleaning up preparation areas and making sure the kitchen is stocked.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality products by following the given Kitchen SOPs
  • Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, Kitchen production methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Prepare all mise-en-place for all relevant menus and prepare a prep list to guide the next staff on shift.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including prep tables, shelves and refrigeration equipment.
  • Responsible for completing the daily checklist and kitchen logs regarding mise-en-place, receiving supplies, food preparation and storage, etc.
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
  • Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Chef In-charge on-duty.
  • Receiving the food and items from supplier and responsible for checking the quality and the quantity too
  • Responsible for checking all the shelf-life/Labels for every item daily and doing the modifications.
  • Prepare, cut & marinate the chicken and beef items.
  • Prepare the sauces and cold cuts according to the par level.
  • Wash/cut all the vegetables needed for the preparation of the items.
  • Daily checking for the temperatures of the fridges and log accordingly.
  • Responsible for all the expiry dates in the store (Must be checked daily)
  • Apply the FIFO standards for every item available in the store.
  • All employees must participate in the monthly end-of-month inventory process.

Kitchen Steward

The Kitchen Steward is considered as the backbone of the restaurant industry as they carry the burden of ensuring everything is spick and span inside and outside the restaurant kitchen. Without them, the reputation of the restaurant will suffer, and it will not matter if we have a very good chef whipping up great dishes if the health and safety of the diners are not assured.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure floor cleanliness at all times of their shift.
  • Always ensure the kitchen is organized, well maintained and clean throughout
  • Follow the company’s hygiene standards and regulations in ensuring maintenance of a hygienic working environment.
  • Abide by all sanitation guidelines provided.
  • Clean and make the waste bin area tidy.
  • Proper waste disposal as per the authority standards and removing trash from all operating areas.
  • Check all chemical levels plus their inventory.
  • Proficiency and knowledge in operating industrial dishwashers
  • Ensure cleanliness and working order of all equipment.
  • Follow the given procedures in large cleaning equipment as assigned.
  • Clean and sanitize pans, utensils, pots, and pans including minor equipment usually used in the kitchen following the given procedures.
  • Maintain floors and walls’ cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing section as per the established instructions.
  • Ensure proper general cleaning through sweeping, mopping, bin emptying, washing. All items are in their correct places and containers.
  • Load and unload water dispensers.
  • Sort and stack all clean items in an orderly and safe way.
  • Use and maintain every equipment and machine as described by the manufacturer instructions.
  • Remove any breakages and cracked items from the central circulation, giving timely updates for earlier replacement.
  • Report all maintenance problems to the Chef In-charge
  • Always ensure maintenance of a clean working and safe environment

Barista / Cashier

A Barista / Cashier is a professional who makes and served beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages. They are responsible for taking and preparing customer orders while paying attention to details.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet customers. Make all our customers feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation, grooming and hygiene
  • Ensuring all restaurant opening, mid-day, and closing procedures are abided by on a regular basis.
  • Maintain clean service areas.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with the other team members regarding order requirements, timings and any low or out-of-stock items (85/86) to ensure we exceed customer service delivery expectations.
  • Carefully review pending take-away/dine in-store/delivery items against orders to ensure accurate orders are dispatched to the correct customer.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of the menu, combination recommendations and the pricing structure and be able to assist customers with their choices.
  • Punching all the orders carefully without mistakes to avoid deletion (immediately after receiving the order)
  • Responsible for all money inside the counter, receiving and giving, and it should be counted twice (Beginning and closing of the shift).
  • Dispatching the items correctly and checking the quality and quantity too.
  • Prepares hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea and smoothies.
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply and stocking coffee brewing equipment.
  • Prepare beverages following the SOPs.
  • Prepare daily/ weekly requisition request for bar items.
  • Maintain cups and cutleries.
  • Conduct monthly inventory for the bar items.
  • Communicate customer feedback to supervisor/ manager and recommend new items.

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
