Job Summary

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service, high-quality food and beverage standards, and exceptional guest experiences. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating front and back-of-house activities, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, managing inventory, and handling customer feedback. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and team leader with a hands-on approach to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth coordination between front and back-of-house teams.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to assign tasks and communicate daily goals.
  • Monitor food quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, well-equipped, and properly staffed.
  • Enforce hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
  • Stay well-informed about the menu, ingredients, and current promotions.
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and ensure proper storage and usage of supplies.
  • Conduct food quality checks and report any spoilage or wastage.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Lead the team by example, promoting teamwork, flexibility, and problem-solving.

Requirements

Applicants must have strong knowledge of food and service standards, actively participate in all required training sessions, and consistently demonstrate high standards of grooming and personal hygiene. A courteous, attentive, and supportive attitude toward both customers and colleagues is essential.
