Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
• Take and serve orders accurately using various POS systems
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and sanitation to uphold health standards
• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and OpenTable reservations efficiently and accurately
• Support food service operations by organizing, cleaning workstations, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages

Skills

• Proven experience with restaurant POS system
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, bussing, or host/hostess positions preferred
