Restoration Technician

Hays + Sons wants to hire YOU as a full-time Restoration Technician. This position has a starting pay of up to $24 an hour, depending on experience!

In addition to your hourly rate and overtime pay, you will receive 1.5x your pay when you wear protective equipment, and 2x your pay for emergency jobs outside your regular working hours.

Description:

The Restoration Technician is a first responder on property loss situations and helps mitigate damage in residential and commercial structures.

Responsibilities:

• Water extraction and mitigation
• Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
• Microbial remediation
• Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up
• Demolition
• Emergency board-up and structure security
• Provide the highest level of customer service by demonstrating our values
• All other duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day, on a rotating schedule
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy equipment throughout a structure
• 1 year of restoration industry, construction, or maintenance experience preferred

Previous experience and IIRC certifications are a plus but not required. We will help you obtain the training and development you need.
