Restricted Escrow Claims Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Restricted Escrow Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Review and analyze escrow claims related to restricted accounts, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
• Investigate discrepancies by conducting thorough credit analysis, loan processing reviews, and contract evaluations
• Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and mortgage servicing teams to resolve complex escrow issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae), TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant legal requirements
• Prepare detailed reports on claim status, resolution steps, and potential risks for management review
• Process escrow disbursements accurately while adhering to banking standards and escrow procedures
• Maintain meticulous records of all claims, correspondence, and related transactions using secure systems such as 10 key typing and basic math calculations

Skills

• Strong understanding of FNMA guidelines and mortgage underwriting processes
• Experience in loan origination, loan processing, or mortgage servicing environments
• Knowledge of escrow procedures, TILA regulations, and contracts management
• Proficiency in credit analysis and financial services operations
• Excellent math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately
• Familiarity with fair housing laws and banking compliance standards
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
