Retail Associate (PT)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our artisan chocolate shop in Santa Monica. This role is ideal for someone who appreciates delivering exceptional, warm customer service and has worked in a high end retail environment. In this role, you’ll help customers find the right products, keep the store organized, and support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide helpful, friendly service
• Answer questions about products and make recommendations
• Assist with purchases, including handling cash and card transactions
• Restock shelves and keep displays neat and organized
• Handle transactions accurately using POS systems
• Help with basic store tasks like cleaning and organizing
• Support team members during busy periods
• Work toward meeting sales goals

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Good communication and people skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move light inventory as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
