Retail Channel Marketing Manager

Angiocchi Consulting is excited to partner with a leading organic lifestyle brand that is seeking a highly organized, self‑directed Retail Channel Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing strategy, planning, and execution for its corporate‑owned retail stores. In this full‑time role, you’ll shape how customers discover, engage with, and experience the brand at the local level - driving store traffic, strengthening market presence, and ensuring each location has the tools, materials, and support needed to succeed.

As the central marketing partner for the retail organization, you’ll blend strategic planning with hands‑on execution across campaigns, events, partnerships, store openings, and community activation. You’ll collaborate closely with retail, creative, marketing, operations, and leadership teams while independently managing timelines, priorities, and multi‑store initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive marketer who thrives in fast‑moving environments, enjoys building structure, and can translate strategy into organized, repeatable, and high‑impact retail marketing programs.

LOCATION: Remote within one of the following states - AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, NY, OH, OR, TN, WA

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: This role requires regular travel to corporate-owned retail stores, new store markets, events, and local marketing activations. The ideal candidate must be comfortable traveling independently and representing the brand professionally in retail and community settings.

COMPENSATION: $100,000 - $115,000 (depending on experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage marketing plans for our corporate-owned retail stores, with a focus on increasing store traffic, local awareness, customer engagement, and retail sales.
  • Create annual, quarterly, and monthly retail marketing calendars aligned with company priorities, product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and local market opportunities.
  • Partner with retail leadership to identify store-specific needs, growth opportunities, and marketing priorities by location.
  • Build localized marketing plans for new store openings, underperforming stores, mature stores, and high-growth markets.
  • Track retail marketing performance and use insights to improve future campaigns and planning.

Store Traffic & Local Market Activation

  • Plan and execute campaigns that drive qualified traffic to corporate-owned stores through local marketing, events, partnerships, digital campaigns, community outreach, and in-store activations.
  • Identify and develop local partnership opportunities with wellness professionals, parenting groups, pediatricians, doulas, interior designers, real estate professionals, schools, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Support grassroots marketing initiatives designed to build brand awareness and deepen our presence in each store market.
  • Coordinate local events, store events, educational workshops, and promotional activations.
  • Help stores become trusted local destinations for organic mattresses, bedding, and healthier sleep solutions.

Campaign Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Manage the execution of retail campaigns across email, paid media, organic social, local listings, store signage, direct mail, events, PR opportunities, and in-store materials.
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop store-specific assets, including signage, flyers, window graphics, product displays, event materials, digital ads, and local promotional content.
  • Partner with the performance marketing team to support geo-targeted campaigns that drive store visits and local conversions.
  • Coordinate with ecommerce and brand teams to ensure retail messaging aligns with broader campaigns.
  • Ensure all store marketing materials are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with company standards.

Store Support & Communication

  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for our corporate-owned retail stores.
  • Communicate marketing plans, campaign details, timelines, assets, and expectations clearly to store managers and retail teams.
  • Create organized toolkits and playbooks that help retail teams execute campaigns consistently and effectively.
  • Gather feedback from store teams to understand what is working, what is missing, and where additional support is needed.
  • Visit stores regularly to evaluate merchandising, signage, local marketing execution, customer experience, and brand presentation.

New Store Openings

  • Lead marketing planning and execution for new corporate store openings.
  • Develop pre-opening, grand opening, and post-opening marketing plans to build awareness and drive traffic.
  • Coordinate launch timelines, local outreach, events, signage, digital campaigns, store collateral, PR support, and community partnerships.
  • Partner with retail operations to ensure each new store opens with strong local market visibility and a clear traffic-driving plan.

Organization, Reporting & Project Management

  • Maintain organized project plans, calendars, timelines, budgets, asset trackers, and campaign documentation.
  • Manage multiple store marketing projects at once while keeping stakeholders updated and deadlines on track.
  • Track campaign results, store traffic trends, event performance, lead generation, customer engagement, and retail sales impact.
  • Prepare regular reporting and recommendations for leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, store support, and retail marketing efficiency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–6+ years of experience in retail marketing, field marketing, local store marketing, brand marketing, channel marketing, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting multi-location retail stores is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage many moving parts at once.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership of projects, and move initiatives forward without constant direction.
  • Comfortable traveling regularly to corporate-owned retail stores, new store markets, events, and local activations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with retail teams, creative teams, marketing teams, leadership, and outside partners.
  • Experience planning and executing local events, retail campaigns, store openings, or community marketing initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across all stores and markets.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and use insights to improve marketing plans.
