Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Retail Customer Service Associate to join our Retail Services team. This in-person role focuses on assisting customers in discovering home improvement solutions while guiding them through the enrollment process. You will use your customer service and communication skills to drive sales, educate customers about our products and services, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to quality and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities of the Retail Customer Service Associate:

  • Engage with customers in person: Greet every customer promptly, build rapport, and create a positive retail experience that encourages enrollment.
  • Drive in-person sales: Retail Customer Service Associates present products and services clearly and confidently, answer customer questions, and highlight promotions to increase sales opportunities.
  • Guide customers through enrollment: Explain the process step-by-step, assist with paperwork or digital forms, and ensure all transactions are accurate and complete.
  • Provide expert product knowledge: Retail Customer Service Associates stay informed about home improvement products, features, and benefits to educate customers during in-person interactions.
  • Achieve sales goals: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly in-person sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized retail environment: Retail Customer Service Associates ensure displays are clean, stocked, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members: Work closely with colleagues to support retail sales efforts, troubleshoot customer issues, and share best practices for improving performance.
  • Follow up with customers: Assist with scheduling appointments, answering post-enrollment questions, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.

Requirements of the Retail Customer Service Associate:

  • No prior sales experience required – full training provided.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for in-person customer interactions.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
