Overview:

Our speciality LEGO toy store in Cary, NC is seeking Retail Customer Service members to join our team! As a Retail Customer Service member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting LEGO fans of all ages with their inquiries and purchases. This is a great opportunity for individuals who like working in a family-friendly environment, have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and enjoy all things LEGO!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers, from kids to adults, in finding products and making purchasing decisions
• Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products, promotions, and store policies
• Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including restocking merchandise and arranging displays
• Process, sanitize, organize and sort used LEGO for resale
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
• Host birthday parties as needed

Skills and Knowledge:

• Outgoing with strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate
• Experience with LEGO is preferred but not required
• Proficient in cash handling
• Basic math skills for calculating discounts, change, etc.
• Experience or willingness to work with kids
• Team player that works well with others
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
• Self-starter with positive attitude, ability to stay productive and find work to do

• Familiarity with current pop culture trends is preferred but not required (Star Wars, Marvel, etc)

Requirements:

• 18+
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED
• Basic technology skills (tablets, apps, Docs / Office, etc)
