Retail & Leasing Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for maximizing occupancy, revenue, and tenant mix across both souq spaces and mall retail units. The role involves leasing strategy, tenant relations, and ensuring a balanced mix of local traders and international brands to enhance customer experience and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute leasing strategies for both souq stalls and mall retail units.

· Identify, negotiate, and secure new tenants (local vendors, SMEs, and international brands).

· Manage lease agreements, renewals, and rental negotiations.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to ensure retention.

· Curate a balanced tenant mix (traditional, cultural, and modern retail).

· Align mall tenants with brand positioning and target audience.

· Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

· Achieve leasing revenue targets and occupancy rates.

· Analyze sales reports and tenant performance.

· Recommend rent adjustments, promotions, or tenant changes.

· Prepare budgets, forecasts, and leasing reports.

· Coordinate with marketing teams for events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

· Work with operations to ensure tenant compliance with policies and standards.

· Support tenant onboarding (fit-out approvals, store openings).

· Ensure smooth day-to-day leasing operations.

· Ensure all lease agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

· Manage documentation, contracts, and records.

· Handle disputes and resolve tenant issues professionally.

Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in retail leasing (mall, souq, or mixed-use developments).

· Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

· Knowledge of retail market trends (especially in the UAE/GCC).

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Financial analysis and reporting skills.

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
