Retail Manager

The Edge Pro Shop at Polar Ice Rink is looking to add new team members!

A Retail Manager will be responsible for providing guests with the highest level of customer service in an exciting atmosphere. Our pro shop strives to bring quality, variety, and value to our athletes and their families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they enter the store or approach the counter with a smile.

• Maintain a high level of product knowledge

• Handle all customer concerns in a proactive and positive manner

• Operate cash register with accuracy and integrity.

• Ensure all merchandise is restocked as needed to maintain variety for customers

• Help maintain a pristine and safe work environment, including proactive cleaning, sizing, and organizing on a daily basis.

• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Maintain and keep up inventory stock.

• Keep space and shop organized.

Physical Demands:

Standing for long periods at a time and the ability to lift and move merchandise/displays of up to 40lbs. Able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Able to use arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel and/or reach.

Pay:

• Pay rate will be depending upon experience.

• Typical hourly rate for this position is $23-$30 per hour (we are looking for someone to grow with the company and elevate this position)!

• Overtime paid at time and a half.

• Paychecks issued weekly.

Schedule:

Full time availability; Week nights and all day availability on weekends. (May work to develop weekend rotation schedule so that not every weekend is required to be worked, this will be something we will grow into together. Right now our busiest times in the store are week days 3pm-11pm and weekends are 7am-10pm store hours {split shifts between two employees).
