Job Summary
We're in search of a Retail Manager to join our fun, dynamic team. Responsibilities will include: inventory planning and purchasing, shipping coordination, day-to-day store management, e-commerce and social media marketing in a luxury showroom environment. This role will help us get our web store up and running, while maintaining an award-winning brick and mortar home store. This is an in-person position in our Rehoboth Beach, DE shop.
Duties
- Inventory & Assortment Management: Plan inventory and assortment by leveraging sales data and inputs from ownership. Catalog, organize and store new inventory as it arrives to ensure Shop keeps a tidy, organized appearance. Maintain appropriate selling levels, source creative new makers, and lead purchasing.
- E-Commerce: Handle customer service, product inquiries, and fulfilment from web sales.
- Merchandising: Maintain a beautiful, elevated experience by styling displays and supporting to our brand standards.
- Customer Service: Greet and support customers in the shop with a friendly, enthusiastic and inclusive spirit.
- Storytelling: Know the assortment, including price points and unique characteristics such as materials, construction or origin.
- Social Media Marketing: Lead content planning and creation for the shop Instagram feed (@shopweethhome). Ensure new drops are properly promoted, and respond to comments and questions.
Requirements
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mentality.
- Experience in retail environments, specifically within interiors/home or fashion.
- Love of aesthetic beauty and excitement to learn the world of interior design, trends, and merchandising techniques.
- Understanding of e-commerce and comfort with back-end management including product listings, pricing, inventory, and product assets (photos, copy, etc.).
- Regular user of Instagram, with understanding of how brands maintain a strong presence on the platform.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
