Rental Operations Associate

Key Responsibilities:

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

Detailing & Vehicle Care

• Perform full interior and exterior vehicle details between rentals to meet fleet standards
• Wash, vacuum, wipe down, and sanitize vehicles to a consistent, high-quality finish
• Inspect and document vehicle condition (dents, scratches, damage) before and after each rental
• Prep vehicles for check-ins to ensure they meet platform photo and cleanliness standards
• Maintain detailing supplies inventory and flag restocking needs

Rental & Operations Support

• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and customer handoffs
• Move, reposition, and transport fleet vehicles as needed
• Greet customers and assist with vehicle rental inquiries in person or online
• Upsell additional rental services such as insurance, upgrades, or accessories
• Coordinate vehicle switches, test drives, or rental-to-sale transitions
• Manage rental agreements and leads through our CRM with accurate records and follow-ups
• Proactively follow up with past renters to offer deals or discuss rent-to-own options
• Collaborate with the operations team to monitor vehicle availability and utilization

Primary Focus

We are actively looking for a vehicle detailing & cleaning specialist. This role is critical to our fleet operations — your attention to vehicle condition directly drives our rental performance.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 2 years.
• 1–3 years of sales experience (automotive, rental, or dealership preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Prior detailing, car wash, or auto care experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Familiarity with Turo, Rentall, or similar rental platforms is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• High School diploma required
• College degree preferred (We will evaluate experience in lieu of education)
