Black River Health is recruiting for a Full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician. The Retail Pharmacy Technician supports the daily operations of the Retail Pharmacy by preparing and dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and delivering outstanding customer service. Ensure efficient workflows, compliance with regulations, and continuity of care for patients. This position is located at our Krohn Clinic campus. This position is:

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, with every 3rd weekend (4 hours) rotation
Essential Duties:

Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating needs and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.

Enters customer and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy management system.

Prepares, labels, and packages medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Processes prescription refills, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Monitors and restocks inventory to maintain appropriate medication levels and reduce out-of-stock occurrences.
Educational Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required

National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred; required within six months of hire

Registered as a pharmacy technician with the state board of pharmacy, if applicable

Minimum of one year of retail or outpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and related technologies
