Essential Functions:
- Data entry of prescriptions, insurance and patient demographic information
- Adjudication of insurance claims
- Proactively investigate and resolve patient related issues to ensure maximum patient retention and high standards of customer service
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong team player
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effectively prioritize tasks and workflow
- Interact professionally and efficiently with patients while building customer loyalty
- Follow pharmacist instructions and clerical duties as needed
- Answering and making phone calls
- General knowledge of wellness and nutritional supplements
- Help with coordinating shipping and delivery of prescriptions as needed
Requirements:
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently
- Must be a team player
- Licensed pharmacy technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Positive attitude and great work ethics
- 1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Experience with PioneerRx preferred
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 40 hours/wk with rotating shifts between 8a-4p and 11a-7p
- Weekend rotation as needed
Pay/Benefits:
- $20-$23/hour based on experience
