The Purchase Manager will be responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and procuring furniture, raw materials, and accessories required for the retail business of Sabhan Furniture. This role ensures the right products are available at the right time, cost, and quality to support sales across all branches.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and finalize suppliers/manufacturers for furniture and related products.
- Negotiate prices, credit terms, lead times, and quality standards with vendors.
- Develop strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and long-term collaboration.
- Maintain an updated database of vendors and product catalogs.
2. Purchase Planning & Coordination
- Work closely with Branch Managers, Warehouse, and Sales team to forecast product requirements.
- Plan monthly and seasonal purchases based on sales trends and market demand.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with logistics/delivery team for smooth supply chain management.
3. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels across branches and central warehouse.
- Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality.
- Track inventory movement and suggest fast-moving/slow-moving product decisions.
- Ensure purchase budgets are adhered to and provide reports to management.
4. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all purchased products meet company quality standards.
- Conduct periodic supplier audits and quality checks.
- Ensure purchases comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
5. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular purchase reports (order status, pending deliveries, supplier performance).
- Analyze purchase trends and suggest improvements in product mix.
- Support management in product pricing decisions based on purchase cost and margins

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
