Retail Sales and Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be essential.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers.
• Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and food preparation areas.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting stock checks as necessary.
• Provide support to team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Skills

• Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus, particularly in food preparation or handling.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills to engage with customers and provide assistance effectively.
• A passion for coffee or related products is desirable but not required.
