Retail Sales Associate | 25–35 hours/week

Pay: $19.75–$24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Bird & Bean and Stitch + Sparrow are two thoughtfully curated Berkeley boutiques known for beautiful goods and genuinely warm customer experiences. We’re looking for a polished, personable and professional Retail Sales Associate who loves boutique retail and takes pride in impeccable service.

This role works across both of our Berkeley locations (connected) and is perfect for someone who notices the details, loves kids, enjoys styling and storytelling through product, and knows how to make every customer feel truly welcomed.

What You’ll Do

• Create a warm, attentive, and personalized shopping experience
• Build authentic relationships with our community of customers
• Share thoughtful product knowledge and recommendations
• Maintain beautiful visual standards on the sales floor
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Support daily operations including restocking and inventory
• Help keep both stores clean, organized, and inviting

What We’re Looking For

• Boutique retail experience required
• Impeccable customer service is a must
• Strong eye for detail and merchandising
• Reliable, punctual, and collaborative
• Comfortable working at both Berkeley locations
• Weekend availability required
