Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and inventory, while also engaging with customers to promote products and services.

Duties

• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure an appealing store layout.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory tracking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
