Retail Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This position does require nights and weekend availability. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. You will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, providing knowledgeable product information and recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and promote a positive work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory management.
• A proactive attitude towards learning about products and enhancing sales techniques is highly valued.
