Retail Sales Associate - HVAC & Appliance Parts

Dey Distributing is an established and successful appliance and HVAC parts company seeking a reliable, friendly Sales Associate. To perform this job you must be comfortable with computers, answering phones, have great customer service skills and work well with others. HVAC and/or appliance experience is preferred but not required. Wage may be negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service
• Greet customers as they enter the facility
• Inform customers of promotions available to them
• Provide information to customers about the company’s product and services
• Assist customers in selecting the products and services to best meet their needs
• Manage customer information using a computer database system
• Address customers’ questions and concerns both in person and via phone or email
• Place orders using a computer database system
• Stock shelves and pick parts for orders

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Customer service orientation
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Attention to detail
• A willingness to learn
• At least one year of customer service experience
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience
• HVAC knowledge/experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
