Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a personalized shopping experience.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance the customer’s purchase.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement.
• Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently with experience in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Operate cash register and cash handling duties efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain store organization, stock inventory, and communicate with management regarding product levels and other needs.
• Manage inventory by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, general cleaning, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and appealing.
• Answer customer inquiries in-person and over-the-phone, exhibiting excellent etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.
• Support store promotions and events to enhance customer engagement.
• Assist in social media efforts, including capturing high-quality product photos for promotional use.
• Troubleshoot basic computer and POS system issues when needed.
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience is required, preferably in a sales-driven role.
• Experience as a key holder, opener/closer, or assisting in opening/closing store operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging experience for customers.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and general computer applications.
• Basic understanding of retail math concepts to assist with inventory management.
• Experience with social media marketing and product photography/marketing is a plus.
• High school diploma required; some college education or relevant training is a plus.
• Must be reliable, professional, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
