Retail Sales Associate/Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers.
• Perform product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a well-presented store environment.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in their roles.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including sales floors and stock areas.

Skills

• Proficient in retail math to manage inventory levels and sales figures effectively.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail during financial transactions.
• Basic math skills for accurate pricing, discounts, and change calculations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
• Ability to supervise others when required, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Must be able to stock cooler and lift
