Retail Sales Associate/Cashier/Stocker

Job Summary
We are a liquor and BBQ supplies store in Olathe. We are a quickly growing store and we are seeking motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associates to join our team. We are looking for evening and weekend associates to partner with our current staff as our business continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively to encourage sales.
• Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and improve sales performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn are critical for success in this role.
• MUST BE 21+ TO APPLY per Kansas State Laws.
