Retail Sales & Design Associate

Furniture & Accessories Store

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and customer-focused Retail Sales & Design Associate to join our growing furniture and home accessories team. The ideal candidate is passionate about interior design, enjoys building relationships with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with furniture, décor, and accessory selections to create inspiring and functional spaces
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and design process
• Maintain strong product knowledge of furniture collections, finishes, textiles, and accessories
• Develop creative design solutions tailored to customer needs and preferences
• Process sales transactions, special orders, and follow-up communications
• Collaborate with team members to maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards
• Support inventory management and administrative tasks as needed
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of sales experience in the design and/or home furnishings industry
• Creative disposition with a passion for design, curiosity, and innovation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a high-pressure retail environment
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
• Availability to work Saturdays as part of a retail schedule
