About The Role

The Retail Sales Executive will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting toys and kids products, and ensuring a great in-store shopping experience. The role includes achieving sales targets, maintaining product displays, handling billing, and providing knowledgeable recommendations based on age groups and safety standards. This position requires strong customer service skills, good product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and recommend suitable toys or kids products.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge about toys, age-appropriate categories, features, safety standards, and trends.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets through active selling and upselling techniques.
  • Ensure all products are properly displayed, priced, and replenished on shelves.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide excellent after-sales support.
  • Process billing, handle cash/card payments accurately, and maintain daily sales records.
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and support inventory checks.
  • Assist in merchandising activities, promotional displays, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual standards at all times.
  • Follow company policies and ensure compliance with safety and store operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Passionate about kids products/toys and good product demonstration ability.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Friendly attitude, teamwork, and positive personality.
  • Attention to detail, merchandising sense, and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in Toys, Baby Products or Kids Accessories.
  • Knowledge of popular toy brands and trends is a plus.
