Position Overview
Farmers Pool & Spa is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a strong balance of leadership, technical knowledge, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities, lead by example, and continuously improve store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and a high standard of presentation
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and properly priced showroom and retail space
- Deliver excellent customer service by assisting a wide range of customer needs and resolving issues effectively
- Perform and interpret water testing, providing accurate product recommendations
- Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure timely restocking of products
- Source and evaluate new products to enhance offerings and meet customer demand
- Analyze sales trends and adjust merchandising and purchasing strategies accordingly
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers
- Answer phones, assist walk-in customers, and manage daily communications
- Ensure all systems, pricing, and product information are accurate and up to date
- Develop and implement training materials and processes for new hires
- Maintain a positive, team-focused work environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic knowledge of swimming pools, equipment, chemicals, and parts (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and act decisively
- Self-starter with high motivation, drive, and accountability
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with all customer types
Technical Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms)
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously
- Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram
- Experience using Canva for basic marketing and in-store materials is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
