Brief Summary: Retail Sales Representatives are responsible for working with in-branch customers to promote the Bedrosians product line and gain business. This includes retail clients, industry professionals, and individual customers. They are responsible for communicating with customers about every aspect of the sale to ensure their satisfaction, including information pertaining to production application, installation, and safety.
Essential Functions:

Retail Showroom Sales

Develop relationships with customers, both in the showroom as well as via phone calls and email

Partner with other representatives to ensure branch meets or exceeds its monthly sales quota

Follow up with customers regarding quotes, orders, and other sales-related issues

Upsell clients when possible
-
Maintain organization and presentation of showroom and samples

Customer Service
-
Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders
-
Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
- Review on-order report daily

Answer phone inquiries including over the phone orders

Resolve customer service issues
-
Process P/Os and receiving for product lines
-
Assist with stock checks, pricing, freight quotes, inventory, and processing orders

Gain knowledge of all product lines
-
Design
- Research and track design trends across social media, trade publications, trade shows, and competitor product launches to inform collection development
-
Create mood boards, color palettes, and design narratives for new and existing tile, stone, wood, and vinyl collections
-
Produce SketchUp layouts, renderings, and visuals for internal product reviews and merchandising planning
-
Support the product development team in identifying assortment gaps and opportunities for differentiation

Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, marketing, sales, and product development teams on collection launches

Assist in preparing visual materials for executive product review presentations
-
Contribute to the visual storytelling used in catalogs, website content, and sales collateral

Organize and maintain a digital library of design assets, boards, renderings, and product imagery
-
Review trade show content (Cersaie, Coverings, KBIS) to identify emerging materials, finishes, and formats

Participate in department meetings

1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience

Preferred

College Degree or equivalent Design Degree preferred

Prior experience in the tile and stone industry is a plus

Design experience is a plus
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D visualization software
- Portfolio demonstrating mood boards, palettes, renderings, or layouts
- Strong command of color theory with the ability to coordinate and contrast palettes across multiple surface materials

Understanding of current design trends in interiors, architecture, or building materials

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Exposure to trade shows or building material product lines
