THE ROLE - We are looking for an energetic, creative, and outgoing Retail Sales & Social Media Associate to join our team. This is a unique hybrid role that combines hands-on retail customer service with creative marketing and community outreach. If you love cars and boats, enjoy talking to people, and have a knack for creating engaging social media content, this is the perfect job for you! You will be the face of Abilene Detail Supplies both in-store and online.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers, listen to their needs, and provide expert advice to help them solve problems and maintain their vehicles or watercraft.

Social Media Management:

Create, film, and post engaging content (Reels, photos, and stories) showcasing our products, store, and community.

Community Outreach: Represent Abilene Detail Supplies at local car shows, boat events, and community gatherings.

Business Collaboration: Reach out to and collaborate with other local businesses to build strong partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities.

Store Operations: Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, maintaining a clean and organized storefront, and processing transaction

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Enthusiast: You have a genuine passion for cars, boats, and the detailing industry. Prior detailing experience is a huge plus, but a willingness to learn is required! -

The Creator: You have proven experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging video and photo content.

The Problem Solver: You are an excellent listener who genuinely enjoys helping people find the right solutions for their detailing needs.

The Networker: You have an outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, and feel comfortable representing our brand publicly at events.

The Team Player: You are self-motivated, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever help is needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field.

- Demonstrable experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and content creation.

- Strong communication and active listening skills
