Retail Salesperson

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales transactions, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your ability to engage with customers and support their shopping experience will be key to our success.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a visually appealing shopping environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support during shifts.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls effectively.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
