Job purpose:

To support and oversee the day-to-day operations of retail stores, ensuring efficient store management, achievement of sales targets, delivery of exceptional customer service, and adherence to company policies and operational standards. The role contributes to optimizing store performance, supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing retail processes to drive overall business success

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Prepare memos, letters
  • Monitor and achieve sales targets, KPIs, and operational goals.
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and merchandise displays according to company standards.
  • Support store expansion, new openings, and seasonal campaigns as required.
  • Supervise, train, and support store staff to maintain high performance and engagement.
  • Implement and maintain retail processes, SOPs, and compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated customer issues promptly.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and implement strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop store staff to maintain high productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and handle escalated complaints effectively.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, control stock levels, and ensure merchandise is displayed according to brand standards.
  • Implement and enforce store SOPs, operational guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular store audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to support store initiatives, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, shift planning, and workforce management.
  • Support new store openings, seasonal campaigns, and operational improvements as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, store management, or supervisory roles in a retail environment.
  • Proven experience in monitoring sales performance, managing staff, and ensuring operational compliance.
