Retail Store Admin Manager - Inventory, Shipping, Billing

Charles Mayer is a luxury retail store, originally founded in 1840 in Indianapolis. It remains the exclusive retailer in the state for numerous brands of European crystal, silver, china, home decor, jewelry, and fine gifts.

We’re hiring a Retail Operations Manager to:

  • Manage store's inventory on Shopify and Google Sheets
  • Cycle count inventory annually
  • Manage receiving new merchandise as it arrives, checking it in, barcoding it and adding photos and descriptions
  • Place special orders with vendors as needed
  • Ship online orders or prepare them for in-store pickup
  • Pay invoices as needed (after confirming receipt of inventory)
  • Customer service via email and phone (minimal)
  • Assist sales floor team as needed with POS system, occasional errands, etc.
  • Manage operational email inbox and track outstanding tasks and projects via a Trello card (a digital to-do list)

We typically operate M-F 10am-5pm though work hours could be 20% flexible for the right candidate.
