Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Retail Store Manager to lead and oversee daily operations at our retail location. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory control, and driving sales growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills, implement strategic initiatives, and foster a positive shopping environment. Duties

  • Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining excellent customer relations.
  • Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory control procedures.
  • Oversee cash handling, cashiering operations, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to promote professional development and team cohesion.
  • Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and ensure proper store coverage during operating hours.
  • Execute merchandising plans to optimize product displays, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory status, and operational issues for senior management.

Skills

  • Proven experience in retail management with supervising responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, cash handling procedures, and inventory management software.
  • Experience in employee recruitment, interviewing techniques, onboarding processes, and training & development programs.
  • Ability to manage store operations efficiently through time management and organizational skills.
  • Competence in merchandising strategies including pricing adjustments and promotional displays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with phone etiquette expertise for customer interactions.
  • Multitasking ability with excellent organizational skills to handle administrative tasks effectively.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
