Job Summary:
We are seeking a Supervisor to join the leadership team at our new Pasadena location. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between management and frontline employees, maintaining smooth workflows and fostering a positive team environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations. You will provide leadership and direction to team members while managing the floor.

Position Type: Full-Time (4 Openings)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily dispensary operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to team members
- Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations and company SOPs
- Oversee customer service standards and resolve escalated customer concerns
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory, including audits and loss prevention
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of staff
- Manage cash handling, register reconciliation, and financial accuracy
- Communicate operational updates, staff performance, and compliance issues to management
- Uphold a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers
Minor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with merchandising, product displays, online menus and promotional materials
- Support in-store events and marketing initiatives when needed
- Troubleshoot minor POS or compliance software issues (ex. METRC, Dutchie, etc)
- Step in as a PCS during peak times or staff shortages
- Assist with schedule adjustments and shift coverage when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, storage, and work areas
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions
- Provide product knowledge feedback and customer trend insights to management

Education, Training, and Professional Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience (managing teams of 5+ people).
- 1+ year of cannabis industry experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Dutchie (POS) and Metrc (State Compliance) is a major advantage.
- Demonstrated history of managing cash drawers, performing safe counts, and reconciling till variances.
- Must be able to obtain a Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) Agent ID.
- Deep understanding of Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) regulations, particularly regarding opening/closing procedures and age verification.
Physical ability to walk, use a step ladder occasionally, and move boxes (<25 lbs)
Must be 21+ years of age.
