Retail Team Member (Cashier)

We are looking for a friendly and dependable Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this position, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service while accurately processing transactions. Your communication skills and welcoming attitude will help create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and assist with purchases.
• Operate the cash register and process point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately.
• Explain product features and benefits, including product demonstrations when appropriate.
• Use upselling techniques to recommend additional products or services that fit customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor with attractive product displays.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members when needed.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions.
• Work with team members to meet store goals and uphold high customer service standards.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Experience

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new products and develop sales skills is highly valued.
