Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Organize and stock merchandise on shelves or storage areas, maintaining proper inventory levels through effective inventory management techniques.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and transport products within the facility.
• Conduct regular inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and discrepancy resolution to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Assist with packing, pricing, and labeling products for shipping or sale, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse by performing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring proper organization of all work areas.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and stocking procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory control and record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Knowledge of retail math for pricing, stock levels, and sales transactions.
• Familiarity with grocery store or retail environments is advantageous for understanding product handling standards.
